August 10, 1961 - May 20, 2026

Dr. Greg Koch served as the Clinical Director of Services at BrainWorks and was a deeply respected clinician, mentor, colleague, and advocate for the patients and families entrusted to his care.
Throughout his career, Greg dedicated himself to helping individuals navigate the complex cognitive, emotional, and psychological effects of traumatic brain injury and trauma. His work reflected not only exceptional clinical expertise, but also extraordinary compassion. He approached every patient and family with patience, empathy, and genuine care, always striving to help people feel understood, supported, and hopeful during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
Greg believed deeply in the power of multidisciplinary care and collaborative treatment. He worked closely alongside neuropsychologists, therapists, physicians, educators, and families to ensure that every patient received thoughtful, individualized support tailored to their unique strengths and challenges. His wisdom and steady presence helped shape the culture and mission of BrainWorks in profound ways.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Greg will be remembered most for the kindness and humanity he brought into every interaction. He had a remarkable ability to connect with people, to listen without judgment, and to make others feel safe, valued, and cared for.
His impact on the lives of patients, families, colleagues, and the broader community will continue for years to come. The compassion, integrity, and dedication he modeled remain woven into the heart of BrainWorks and the work we do every day.
We will carry his memory with us always and honor his legacy through the care and support we continue to provide to others. He cared. And that made all the difference.
ABOUT US
Brain Works’ team consists of clinical and neuropsychologists, speech/language pathologists, and occupational therapists who specialize in diagnostic evaluation and treatment of patients with TBI and emotional trauma. Our multidisciplinary approach allows us to determine the impact of brain injury and psychological trauma on executive function skills, language processing, daily functional skills, and social-emotional functioning. Our evidence-based assessments and treatments identify and target executive function skills, memory (including long-term memory, short-term memory, and working memory), vestibular disorders, language processing, and social-emotional skills.
SERVICES OFFERED
The BrainWorks approach is recognized for its comprehensive battery of diagnostic assessment processes and diligence in making accurate diagnoses and thorough recommendations for intervention.

A psychological assessment can identify a patient’s level of social/emotional functioning.

A neuropsychological evaluation is the examination of one's brain function and brain-behavior based relationships, which yields information about the functional integrity of the brain.

A more focused neuropsychological evaluation often necessitated by cases where individuals have sustained a concussion.

A personalized approach that uses evidence-based interventions to help people with cognitive impairment to restore or compensate for cognitive deficits.

Our team offers a variety of focused treatments including CBT, somatic based therapy, behavioral therapy, and focused treatment for trauma subsequent to injury.

Vestibular rehabilitation is a specialized form of therapy designed to address balance and dizziness issues that arise from problems in the vestibular system, which is responsible for maintaining balance and spatial orientation.
OUR TEAM
The BrainWorks staff are specially trained in cognitive and behavioral research-based programs.
